CONCRETE POOL SPECIALISTS
Built Around the Project.
Not every swimming pool can — or should — arrive as a predetermined shell.

Some projects demand a structure designed around the building. Others involve basements, restricted access, unusual dimensions, challenging ground conditions or architectural details that simply don't suit a factory-produced pool.

Orbro specialises in reinforced-concrete swimming pool construction. It gives us the freedom to build around the project rather than asking the project to accommodate the pool.

The Pool Should Fit the Architecture.
Not the Other Way Around.
WHAT WE BUILD
Specialist Concrete Pool Construction
When Standard Isn't the Answer.
Basement Swimming Pools

Basement swimming pools present a very different construction challenge to conventional outdoor pools.

Access is often restricted, the pool may form part of the wider building structure, and construction needs to be carefully coordinated with the architect, structural engineer and main contractor.

Our lightweight ClipBlox permanent formwork can be carried into restricted locations and assembled in position.
Difficult & Restricted-Access Sites

Sometimes the challenge isn't the pool. It's where you want to put it.

Restricted access, sloping ground, existing structures, retaining requirements and difficult excavation can all influence how a swimming pool needs to be designed and constructed.

Orbro's background in reinforced-concrete construction allows us to approach these projects as structural challenges — not simply pool installations.
Indoor Pool Shells

For indoor swimming-pool projects, Orbro concentrates on what we know best: the reinforced-concrete pool structure.

We construct the pool shell as part of the wider building project, working alongside architects, structural engineers, main contractors and other pool specialists.
Our role is the structural pool shell.
We do not undertake construction of the surrounding indoor building or its environmental-control systems.
Infinity & Overflow Pools

Infinity edges and overflow systems demand greater precision than a conventional skimmer pool.

Finished levels, structural design, hydraulics, balance tanks and the relationship between the water and surrounding architecture all need to work together.

Reinforced-concrete construction allows these elements to be considered as part of the structure from the beginning.
Bespoke Pool Shapes & Sizes

Concrete doesn't come in standard pool sizes.

Length, width, depth, steps, benches and other structural features can all be developed around the property, the architecture and the way the swimming pool will be used.

That freedom is one of the reasons reinforced concrete is particularly suited to architectural and specialist swimming pools.
Challenging Ground

Ground conditions, groundwater, retaining requirements, neighbouring buildings and changes in level can all influence how a swimming pool needs to be constructed.

Where specialist structural engineering is required, we work alongside the appropriate professionals so the pool structure can be designed for the individual project and its surroundings.
Reinforced-Concrete Swimming Pool Specialists
We Don't Just Build Pools.
We Build Concrete Structures.
A swimming pool contains filtration, heating, circulation, lighting and finishes.
But before any of those things matter, it needs to be a structure capable of containing many tonnes of water — year after year.
Orbro's expertise is in reinforced-concrete swimming pool construction.
From conventional outdoor pools to basements and complex architectural projects,
we understand the pool first as a concrete structure — how it is formed, reinforced, poured and integrated into the site around it.
That's what makes Orbro concrete pool specialists.

HOW WE BUILD
How We Build Reinforced-Concrete Swimming Pools
Reinforced Concrete. Built Differently.
Our swimming pools are constructed using ClipBlox permanent polypropylene shuttering, creating a 150mm reinforced-concrete wall.
The lightweight formwork is assembled in position before reinforcement and concrete are introduced.
For basement pools, restricted-access sites and bespoke structures, the ability to carry lightweight components into the site and construct the pool in position can provide a significant practical advantage.
UNDERSTANDING THE INVESTMENT
How Much Does a Specialist Swimming Pool Cost?
There isn't a single price for a specialist swimming pool because there isn't a single definition of one.

Pool size, ground conditions, access, structural requirements, excavation, finishes, equipment and the complexity of the design can all influence the eventual cost.

We can establish a realistic budget early in the conversation, but meaningful pricing becomes much easier once we understand what you're actually trying to build.

OUR EXPERIENCE IN NUMBERS
Real Experience, Real Numbers
For more than 27 years we've been constructing swimming pools, and for the last 17 years we've been working with ClipBlox.
These numbers represent genuine hands-on experience — from private residential pools to large and technically challenging installations.
