If you're considering asking Orbro to design and build your swimming pool, the first conversation is completely free.
We can give you a realistic ballpark figure, but accurately pricing a bespoke swimming pool before it has been designed is a bit like asking a builder to price a house before there are any plans.
Pool size is only one part of the equation. Depth, shape, ground conditions, access, finishes, heating, covers, filtration, landscaping and even where the pool sits within your property can all affect the final cost — and changing one element can have a knock-on effect on several others.
That's also the difference between a bespoke Orbro pool and choosing a pre-manufactured pool from a limited range of sizes and specifications. We don't start with a pool and ask you to make it fit your property. We start with your property, how you want to use the pool and what you want to create — then design the pool around you.
During your initial conversation, we'll talk through your ideas, your property and your priorities, and help you understand the likely scope and level of investment involved.
If you decide you want to take the project further, our professional design service can develop those ideas into detailed pool and construction plans, a complete pool and landscape design, and 3D visualisations of the proposed project.

Pool deisgn and
Build Plans

A detailed set of drawings showing how the swimming pool is intended to be laid out and constructed.
The package can include pool dimensions and layout, plant-room arrangement, pool fittings and lighting positions, pipework schematics and detailed sections for elements such as automatic-cover pits.
These are pool design and construction layout drawings rather than structural engineering drawings, giving you and your contractors a clear plan from which to develop and build the pool.

Pool and Landscape
Design From £4,497
Taking the design beyond the pool itself, we develop a 2D plan showing how the swimming pool works within the wider garden.
The design can incorporate the position and proportions of the pool, terraces and paved areas, paths, steps, planting, access and surrounding landscape features — creating a coherent plan for the complete space rather than considering the pool in isolation.

3D Pool and Landscape Self Visualisation
From £5,497
Take the completed 2D design into three dimensions and see how the proposed pool and surrounding landscape could look before construction begins.
Your design is developed into a detailed 3D model and visualisations, helping you understand scale, proportions, materials and the relationship between the pool, garden and home.
Includes the Pool & Landscape Design package.

Not every outdoor swimming pool requires planning permission, but the requirements can depend on the property, its location and the nature of the proposed project.
Listed buildings, conservation areas and other designated land can introduce additional considerations.
We consider planning at the design stage so potential issues can be identified early.
Where permission is required, the right drawings and supporting information can also form an important part of the planning application.
