It is very easy for suppliers to say the pool shell is structurally sound in any ground condition, just to get the chance to sell it. It isn’t just simply a case of digging a hole and fitting a pool into it.

You need to establish are your walls strong enough when the pool is empty of water? Do you need to backfill the structure with concrete?

We have conducted extensive research into the strength of the SolidPool system. Paul Bonsor MSc, Fiche, C Eng. designed concrete structures in Nuclear Power stations and did a week-long study into the system, checking the French calculations.
