Spring is just around the corner, well technically it's here (but doesn't always feel like it). But regardless of the strange weather, those sunny moments create that spring demand and you know what that means - the rush is coming!
In order to make sure you're prepared for the influx of jobs, here are three things you need to do THIS WEEK:
Get your processes in order: You need to streamline everything from installations to project management. Get some software in place, develop standardised procedures, and make sure you've got enough staff to handle the extra workload. Trust me, you don't want to be caught off guard when the phone starts ringing off the hook.
Stock up: Speaking of being caught off guard, make sure you've got all the supplies we need. Running out of essential materials during the spring rush is a nightmare. Stock up on everything from pool installation materials to soil, PROblocks, and tools. Don't be that guy who has to tell a client, "Sorry, we can't finish your project until we get more PROblocks."
Customer first: Last but not least, don't forget why you're in business in the first place: to make your clients happy. During the spring rush, it can be easy to get caught up in the chaos and forget about providing excellent customer service. But this is the time when your clients need you the most. So, make sure you communicate clearly with them, address any concerns or issues promptly, and go the extra mile to exceed their expectations. Trust me, your clients will remember that you went above and beyond, and that's what keeps them coming back.
